Bum hip Floyd is hosting a power camp. I imagine that if you are new to power training (2 years or less) this is probably a good deal.

Not sure how much he talks during one - I have never been to this. But if he is like the other Pro Tour guys I have ridden with it, they don't know, care or won't tell you enough of the details for you gain much insight into their training and racing. He did race with it almost all the time, so he probably has some great data and if Allen Lim is there then I am sure this is a cool deal.

I have been to the last two Floyd camps and they have been over the top. Floyd was a true professional in this atmosphere and made everyone feel welcome. I at first thought I would only see him once or twice, but he was there everyday riding, talking and having fun with "the guys(and gals)". With regards to power and Power Taps, Allen Lim is an amazing guy. Allen would give talks twice a day on Power and analize your data from the ride that day. Everyone should have the opportunity to listen to this man speak.....he is not only brilliant when it comes to power, but, has the ability to capture peoples attention like no other! If he is ever in your area speaking I highly recommend you go see him. Lastly, the Saris group know how to through an event. From the food, support(daily massages, personl mechanics), lodging, etc.. everything was unbelievable. They truely made you feel like you were riding on a professional team each day. I would be there again this year, however, it lands on my wife's 40th B-day. I enjoyed it so much I have two of my buddies going i my place.

I attended Floyd's camp last year, and it was so great that I am returning for a second year! (I've been a PowerTap user for 4 years) It is worth every penny...including airfare from Hawaii!! I echo everything Rod said.

Floyd was very friendly and generous with his time. He spent some time on every ride with me, riding next to me, encouraging me when I thought I was going to blow up...and he was right, I didn't! Not to mention that he gave me his windvest when I was shivering and teeth chattering after climbing to the top of Mt Palomar! A true gentleman!

Allen is incredible. Intelligent, funny, wise, and able to explain things to average intelligence beings like myself, without making me feel like an idiot! He is a fine cyclist in his own right, too. His love of the sport is contagious. What I learned from him helped me to set new PRs in my goal races this year!

Saris is a company with integrity and caring, not just about cycling, but about people, too. They have stood by their products, and carried it beyond the camp. The product is wonderful, but the company behind the product is even better.

All in all, I returned from the camp not only a better cyclist, but a better athlete, and with new freinds for life!

The atmosphere was one of team and family. Awesome. To miss this is to truly miss out.
