Raisin Hell Cools Off

Saul Raisin has been forced to call his career over. His French team's doctors will not allow him to return to professional cycling citing the potential danger to his health from another head injury.

For someone who tried so hard to recover and make it, it is sad to see a great American talent have to leave the professional ranks from a racing accident.

Best of Luck to Saul.

Disc A Go GO Powertap MTB Version Goes Live (well sort of)

Dsc04276 KNOBBIES LIVE IN A POWERED STATE:

Cycling news broke the news today that Saris is developing a mountain bike version of the power tap to allow riders of disc brakes to use the system. If you check earlier posts the wattage revolution has gotten to the highest levels - where the UCI World Cup guys are RACING on Powertap built wheels.

Some wattage geeks are notably mountain bikers: Sue Haywood and a particular NW stud.

No launch date, my experience is that the official launch will be sometime next year at Sea Otter.

Marke these words, people are going back to the DIRT. The BS with all the Road Doping issues has turned too many riders back to their roots.
